Leaseurope’s 2016 Annual Convention took place in Athens on the 6th and 7th of October and Acquis Director, Nick Leader, explains why he feels that this year was the best yet for Acquis.

“This is the third year running that Acquis has been headline sponsor at Leaseurope’s Annual Convention, and the third year we have distributed personalised gifts to all the delegates – this year it was ultra slim Power Banks. Following the success of our sponsorship in previous years, many delegates made an effort to come and see us this year and there was a real buzz around our exhibition stand on both days”.

When asked what the real benefit to Acquis was in both attending and in being a sponsor, Leader replied, “One of the most enjoyable parts of what we do, is building relationships with industry professionals from a variety of cultures across Europe, and Leaseurope’s truly international delegation enables us to meet with clients, prospects and friends from across the continent in a formal but relaxed environment. It also enables us to introduce prospective clients to some of our existing clients, giving them the opportunity to get direct, impartial feedback on what it is like to work with Acquis”.  Leader continued, “It is also a great place to meet people that it would be very difficult to meet during the normal course of daily business.  Meeting new funders for the first time at the Leaseurope convention has directly resulted in new client partnerships for Acquis so it’s one of the most anticipated events in our business calendar”.

“We are looking forward to developing the new relationships we have started in Athens and to the 2017 convention, despite it being 12 months away and the rumours that the location may be a little cooler next year”.
